It has been two weeks since I started this project. I have been teaching myself how to use a DSLR and I feel that this brief isn't going well for me. I don't think I have benefited from learning through books for this specific project and have now started to learn through experimentation and trail & error. I have learnt how to use ISO and WB and now feel confident in using these settings. I have started experimenting with shutter speeds in nighttime settings but would like to gain more insight in natural setting with various shutter speeds. I have learnt how the lengths of the shutter effects the light but would like to learn how it affects colour balances. Next week I’d like to do more projects and try and produce satisfying images considering all the new settings I have learnt to use. I am also going to work with studio lighting and receive an induction on using the DSLR's in the studio.
